Gator Gripz are tough, professional‑grade orange nitrile gloves they are powder and latex free designed for demanding work. Their extended cuff offers added protection above the wrist, helping prevent gaps between glove and sleeve. Made from an extra‑thick nitrile with a diamond‑textured finish, they provide excellent grip in wet or dry conditions while still allowing good feel and control. With a more substantial, durable construction than standard disposable gloves, they’re ideal for users who need stronger resistance to tearing and wear whilst manipulating the hive or in the honey house.
A professional beekeeper has been testing these disposable gloves and has on average used a single pair of Gator Gripz to inspect 78 hives making them an economical alternative to surgeon type disposable glove.
To help prevent transmission of disease between hives these gloves can be doused in a solution of soda crystals in water between inspections

Beekeeping Applications
Many beekeepers prefer disposable nitrile gloves during hive inspections due to the improved dexterity and reduced bulk compared with traditional leather or heavier weight blue latex gloves.
The textured surface of Gator Gripz provides excellent grip on tools, frames and hive components whilst maintaining good feel and control during inspections and are a useful glove for use when extracting honey
The gloves may also be beneficial where improved hygiene is desired, including apiary visits, swarm collection, disease management situations and general hive maintenance.
Sizing Information
Currently available in Large and XL
Due to the heavier weight nitrile construction in relation to standard disposable gloves and closer fitting characteristics of the glove, sizing may feel smaller and more fitted than some conventional disposable gloves.
As a general guide, users who would normally select a Medium glove may still find the Large suitable depending on preferred fit and hand shape.
