The 8th of August saw the Sherriff team having a get together to celebrate the wonderful work of our wonderful and dedicated sewing machinists and staff.
We had a lovely lunch at Halwyn’s Tea Garden near Truro which looks out to the seas of the Carrick Roads

After lunch, our machinists ( some of whom have worked with us for over twenty years!) were presented with an award of an engraved glass honey pot with a pewter lid and spoon.
Brian Sherriff recalled some funny incidents of his working life when he was manufacturing lingerie from which the idea of our bee hood was born!
Not content with just lunch we all went on to enjoy a delicious piece of cake – Halwyn’s regularly produce a range of ten different cakes…all equally delicious – not that we have sampled them all!!
