Can you see it? Angela came across this strange white spider lurking on a Cistus flower in her garden and managed to grab the camera in time before it ate this poor bee.
So far as we can tell, thanks to the good old internet, we think this pure white spider is a Crab Spider – Misumena vatia – Female, also known as the White Death Spider. Apparently they do tend to ambush and poison their prey, camouflaging themselves on pale flowers like this one.
