On Thursday 27th November the Cornwall Manufacturing Group held their Annual Awards Ceremony at the local Penventon Hotel, Redruth.
Sherriff’s were Short-listed for the Manufacturer of the Year (Small) Award – there was a lot of stiff competition so we were delighted to be short-listed.
It was a lovely evening with Ian Scott formally of Mulberry Hand bag fame giving an insightful talk and presentation about the hand bag industry – with the ladies amongst us wishing we could afford a Mulberry hand bag!
There was also a raffle with proceeds going to ROC which is a registered charity which supports people with learning disabilities. It operates a 40 acre farm at Blackwater and a vibrant social club based at Truro College., Cornwall. In 2015 ROC will have offered personalised care and support for 25 years.
